Anglia Ruskin\u2019s history starts in 1858 when the art critic and philanthropist John Ruskin started the Cambridge School of Art. The Art School grew to become Anglia Ruskin University and is still at the heart of our modern-day campus in Cambridge. Besides Cambridge, the university has campuses in Chelmsford, London and Peterborough.<\/p>\n

In recent years the university has invested over \u00a3100 million in its campuses. It has also created the Anglia Ruskin Enterprise Academy (AREA) a central hub for start-ups, ideas generation and innovative projects.\u00a0The University\u2019s School of Medicine opened in September 2018 training future doctors in state-of-the-art clinical laboratories, with simulation rooms and an anatomy suite. The school of Medicine is in close collaboration with 5 hospitals in the UK.<\/p>\n
