Richmond American International University in London is an American university based in London at the campuses of Richmond Hill and Kensington High Street.<\/p>\n

The US degrees awarded by Richmond are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. In August 2018 the university was granted the authorisation by the UK government to also award British degrees. It is the first and only university in the UK with the power to grant \u2018double\u2019 degrees, i.e. its students receive both a British and US degree; thus, giving them the opportunity to distinguish themselves within the job market.<\/p>\n

It is acclaimed for its academic standards and its approach to teaching which combined the high quality of British education with the US education system, whereby students can choose to study various subjects while majoring in one specific academic field. In addition to the above, the university offers scholarships and many programmes have internship opportunities both in the UK and abroad.<\/p>\n

The Richmond Hill campus hosts first and second-year students and it includes the library, teaching facilities, laboratories and accommodation. There are sport facilities for tennis, volleyball and football and many more. After the completion of the second year, students continue their studies at Kensington campus in central London.<\/p>\n

ABOUT THE AREA<\/h2>\n

The campus is set in a splendid six-acre site at the top of Richmond Hill, one of London\u2019s most sought-after areas.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent”][vc_column_text]An impressive neo-Gothic building constructed in 1843 and a modern five-level library, house classrooms, computer and science laboratories, art and photography studios and an auditorium.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent”][vc_column_text]The campus also accommodates student residences, a dining hall, student common room, and faculty and administrative offices.
