\nA new Postgraduate Loan is now available to help you pay for your Master\u2019s course[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent”][vc_column_text]While student loans have been available to cover the cost of undergraduate degrees for many years,\u00a0postgraduate students had to take out a career development loan or somehow fund themselves .[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent”][vc_column_text]Now a new system of postgraduate loans for Masters Degrees in the UK will be introduced on 2016.\u00a0The loans will available for students who commence their master courses in September 2016. The application process will open from summer 2016 and the maximum loan amount will be \u00a310.609*.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent”][vc_column_text]To get a postgraduate loan:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n2. You have to be enrolled a taught or research Master\u2019s course
\n3. You have to be under 60
\n4. You master program must be one or two years long and
\n5. You can\u2019t already have a master\u2019s degree or higher qualification[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]*The loan will not be available to anyone already holding a Master degree or equivalent level
\nqualification, even if self- funded or achieved outside the UK[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent”][vc_column_text]Loans will be available for:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n2. Taught and research masters (and MBA)
\n3. Any subject
\n4. Anywhere in the UK[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent”][vc_column_text]Terms will remain mainly the same as the existing UG loan scheme.
